An amazing gentle yet effective facial oil that can be used as a moisturizer, cleanser, or both! This facial oil is packed with omega fatty acids, vitamins, lipids, and hundreds of bioactive compounds. It will nourish, moisturize, calm and protect your skin.
Why sea buckthorn oil? Its a powerhouse oil, full of nutrients, vitamins, antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce swelling and redness associated with many skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.
How to Use:
This is a great oil to use to add some slip to the skin before using any facial tools. Apply one pump to cleansed skin before using your gua sha or roller.
This facial oil also acts as a great cleanser! Use in your routine as your first cleanser to remove makeup, sunscreen and dirt. It can be used a few ways, one is by applying directly to the skin with your hands and massaging in circular motions. Then use a damp wash cloth to remove. Try to avoid direct eye contact.
Another great way is to wet a reusable face pad with warm water and wring it out. Apply 3 - 4 pumps of the facial oil to the face pad and swipe in circular motions on the face to cleanse. Repeat until the cotton round is no longer removing dirt and appears clean.
As a moisturizer, apply 1 -2 pumps to clean skin and massage in. Can be used on the body as well. Since oil is occlusive, I like to splash my clean face with a little bit of cool water and then massage in my facial oil. This will not only help spread the oil more effectively, but the water will help hydrate the skin and allow the oil to absorb more effectively.
